FISME is the national federation of Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs). Established as NAYE in 1967, it was rechristened as FISME in 1995. Because of its outreach and project execution capabilities across MSME sector, agencies that have entrusted research and project implementation mandates during last three years include: UNCTAD, ILO, EC, DFID, GIZ, Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Asian Productivity Council, ITC (Geneva), Foreign Missions among others.
